Some of the ringtones can be taken directly or downloaded from a website without paying a penny for the same but most of the time we have to pay atleast a small amount for downloading a tone. If people are so crazy of having different ringtones then the question arises as to how many ringtones does one person really need? Definitely we may need a lot as our tastes differs from day to day but always remember that there are a bunch of websites using free ringtones for cell phones as enticements to get people to buy their product, and other companies using the ringtones as promotions. The free ringtones are certainly more limited in selection than the other ones that you have to pay for, but if you are just looking for older songs to give you phone some variety, and then the free ringtones are just fine. But now there are even tones that aren’t ringtones but only sounds of people yelling at you to answer your phone, normally while using a large quantity of offensive words.
